Jari House

Jari is a new holiday home, situated at the ring of Beara and overlooking Coulagh Bay. The scenic Beara peninsula is one of several rugged fingers that extend into the Atlantic from the south west coast of Ireland.

Beara is a magical place that will tempt you to return again and again; wild and remote mountain valleys, lonely tarns and memorable sea-cliffs! Beara contains some of the best mountains for walking in the entire island - and that's saying something!

Jari is built on the slope of a hill, approximately 60 meters or 200 feet above sea level and combines a panoramic view with sufficient shelter.

The house is constructed, similar to the old Irish and provincial houses, at the Ardéche and Dordogne in France. The way the house is constructed is clearly visible, for example: you can see the wood beams from the sealing.

At the east wall (near the parking area) is a cave or tunnel which has been used in the old days. Indicating that it has been a favored spot by humans for thousands of years.
